The title says it all. Today was an uneventful day, a day of relaxation. Mostly…
We started with a delicious breakfast prepared by John and his lovely staff at Vivenda Paraty. Yogurt, muesli, eggs cooked to order, papaya, fresh breads, cakes, cheese, ham, fresh squeezed OJ and coffee – all enjoyed while overlooking the pool. What a delight!
After this slow start, we sauntered into town to do a few errands and a little bit of shopping. After about an hour, we started to melt from the heat (well, my parents and I melted – this was just a normal day for Floridian Ro), and we headed to a cooler area for lunch.
The canal of Paraty. Not pictured: “Born in the USA” blasting from the speakers of some Brasileros…
We followed our very filling lunch with more relaxing at our pousada by the pool. Then, it was off to an Asian day spa (run by non-Asians) nestled in the green hills for a nice relaxing hot stone massage. Ahhhhhhhh…..
Finally a food photo.. Wondering when I was going to see that…
