It’s true that Paris is well-known for its plethora of art museums, but if you’re looking for something different, check out the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (or Natural History Museum). There’s something cool about seeing animals side-by-side, kinda like I had just walked into The Lion King or Noah’s ark. The museum also housed a special exhibit, L’Odyssée Sensorielle, which takes you through different natural environments with your eyes, nose and ears. Although this wouldn’t be my first choice for a museum to visit in Paris, if you’re looking for something different or for something for the whole family to enjoy, I highly recommend it. It’s located in the Jardin des Plantes which is also a beautiful visit. 🌸 🧡The cliffs of Roussillon 🧡 🧡The narrow streets of Roussillon 🧡 Wandering around the village of Roussillon in Provence. The orange pigment of the homes in this stunning little village come from the clay earth of the surrounding area. Designated one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in France”, and even from a distance, it’s easy to see why. Check out more info on this village and its neighbor Roussillon on my latest blog post (link in bio). There weren’t many 🍊🍊🍊 in Orange. But there was a lot of cool Roman history. Sundays are for walks in the woods… 🌳🌳🌳 Although I prefer warm, sunny days in Paris, the gray, rainy days create a mood of their own. ☔️ As much fun as I had in the US, I was happy to be back in France in time to catch the Chantilly forest in these beautiful fall colors 🍂🍁
