A Day Trip to Saint Tropez

In June, we took a little day trip to Saint Tropez, which was an over 3 hour drive from Montpellier.  Saint Tropez is located in the Côte d’Azûr region of France, known for it’s beautiful blue green waters and its opulent wealth.  The first thing I noticed about the little town is how clean and beautiful it was.  There was even a guy walking around with a canister on his back, sucking up garbage in the streets.  But this beauty comes at a price – it was an expensive city!!!  Wealth is dripping everywhere, from the pricey boutiques to the massive 3 story yachts.  After walking around the town and discovering that we couldn’t afford anything there, we headed to a beautiful nearby beach…

  1. When I went to St Tropez, a can of Coke was about $10 and paella was about $35!! Definitely a vacation spot for the rich and famous.
